COVID Protocol
We are happy to announce that our office will re-open on June 16, 2020, we look forward to seeing you in the office! We would like to keep you informed of new protocols that have been implemented in an effort to serve and protect you in the safest, most efficient manner. Your health and safety continues to be our utmost priority. These protocols will follow guidelines provided by the Center for Disease Control (CDC), the Maryland Board of Acupuncture and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
Mask:
All patients are required to wear a mask in the clinic.
Personal Items:
Please only bring in the essential items (keys, wallet, cellphone etc), leave bags/purse/laptops in the car. You will be given a sanitized plastic bin upon entry, we ask that this bin will remain closed and not be moved once you set it down.
Payment:
Online payment is available here. You may pay your co-pay and fees for service rendered before or after your treatment.
Shoes:
There will be a bleach solution bottle outside of the door. Please spray down the bottom of your shoes and wipe on the towel before entering the clinic. Please refrain from wearing nice shoes that bleach might damage.
Temperature:
A non-contact thermometer will be used to scan your temperature. Anyone over 100 degrees will be asked to reschedule their appointment.
Wait Outside:
Please call 301-869-9802 once you arrive. We will be utilizing phone check-ins that will allow you to remain outside until your room is ready. Our waiting room is small and cannot adhere to the 6ft social distancing rule.
Waiver:
All patients are required to sign the Covid waiver before their Appointment. This waiver can be found here. A paper waiver will be outside the door.
Water:
We will NOT be providing water in the office as it can be a source of contamination.
New Patients:
New patient initial consultations will be conducted via Tele-Health on Wednesdays/Fridays ONLY. Please let the staff know you are a new patient and we will email you instructions to call in ahead of your appointment. This is to reduce the amount of time spent face to face in a small enclosed area. Your follow-up treatments will be conducted in the office.
